Gillian Greenwood
Features Editor and Events & Training Coordinator

From now until the end of December 2009, or while stocks last, we are delighted to offer you the gift of a signed copy of the hardback book Grays of Westminster Exclusively Nikon…In the Company of Legends by Gillian Greenwood (value £25.00) when you spend £1000 or more at Grays of Westminster.

Grays of Westminster is not simply a Nikon camera shop, it is for many photographers around the world an institution, the epitome of a quintessential English store with a formidable reputation for service; in many circles the Grays of Westminster name has become a byword for excellence.

Gillian Greenwood's superb illustrated account of the history of this legendary camera shop and its relationship with the Nikon brand is an unusual and striking portrait of a unique business.

Gillian Greenwood offers a fascinating view of Grays of Westminster as she vividly describes the building, the people who founded the company and run the shop and some of its famous visitors. She tells the compelling story of Grays of Westminster's development from its modest beginnings as a mail order company to its present incarnation. Her anecdotal style provides an in-depth understanding of just what makes Grays of Westminster tick. The introduction is by the acclaimed society photographer Richard Young, with contributions from film director Stanley Kubrick, Emmy-award winning actor David Suchet, celebrated wildlife photographer Heather Angel, Garry Coward-Williams (former Editor Amateur Photographer), William Cheung (former Editor Practical Photography), Peter Bargh (Publisher ePhotoZine), Michael Bond (creator of Paddington Bear), The Duchess of York and many others. This beautiful hard-cover book is available as a gift while stocks last when you spend £1000 or more at Grays of Westminster and will be signed for you by the author.

Have a Merry Christmas with Grays of Westminster!
